neoïst designed the label for the new champagne brand ‘Kurfürsten Acht’. We are showing three of the initial designs here.

The history of the Bavarian Electors began in the early 17th century. The art of this period was characterised by the Baroque, a style distinguished by its splendour and drama. As the namesake, Kurfürsten Acht is therefore not only a well-established establishment in the heart of Schwabing, but also an integral part of the history of the city of Munich and the state.

The customer opted for the cloud-motif label. A good choice: the golden Baroque clouds evoke glorious weather – typical of Bavaria. The ‘sun’ symbolises the city’s famous meeting place – the ‘Kurfürsten Stüberl’ – which gave its name to the premium champagne. A modern typeface was chosen to contrast with the logo, distinctive and modern, designed to appeal to a young target audience looking for a trendy, fun drink to toast with that suits the Bavarian metropolis.

By using artificial intelligence, we were able to digitise and personalise the Elector in the logo. A greeting from Europe’s past – a reminder of values and traditions, some of which have been preserved to this day in the production of fine champagne in neighbouring France.

We recommend ordering the house champagne from Kurfürstenstraße 8 in Munich for your next event!

21 July 2025 is the big day: the new ‘Bubbly’ is arriving.
